The last time I visited Hualien I met this Kiwi guy who lives there and happens to play guitar and various other instruments. We had a nice jamming session at the hostel that I stayed in and we exchanged contact info for later use if needed. It just happens to be that I send Tim a message once I knew that I'm heading to Taiwan and it just happened to be that he was in vicinity.
I hauled my arse to the same hostel than last time and found myself staying in the same dorm than about a year ago. World is small nowadays! Few hours later Tim showed up with his scooter and as you might have already guessed it was time for some reunion beers and jamming. Well the jamming happened a couple of days later but we definitely had some reunion beers accompanied by these lovely Taiwanese ladies in the picture below. Thanks to all of you once again for an awesome stay in Hualien. Ladies and gents, if you ever end up going to Taiwan you wanna go to Hualien and stay at the Journey hostel. Unluckily I basically forgot to take any pictures of our massive jam night but there were Tim, TimTim, TimTimTim aka triple Tim, me and many others. The three Tims were not triplets by the way but individual Tims with no relations. It was funny nevertheless. "Hey Tim, no sorry, I meant TimTim".
After a nice and refreshing weekend on the countryside it was time to head back to Taipei and straight to the international airport to get into my present location. Yay!
