Some of the best sceneries ever!

Nothing spectacular happened in Queenstown but it’s beautiful, really beautiful. The best thing on my stay in QT was probably my own dorm, well there is one other thing but that one can wait.  So everyone else checked out after my first night in so I ended up having my private dorm for the rest of my stay. No complaints here =)
Me and Ent.
QT is known to be a party town and a money sucking place and I got warned in beforehand for quite a few times. Still it was a surprise how party oriented the place was. And with all the activities for adrenaline junkies I can now totally understand the reputation and the heads ups. I somehow managed to stay (almost) sober and avoided spending too much money. I did splurge on something though, on something that was supposed to be the burger of all burgers. Fergburger is the name of the place. I don't think that there's a single backpacker who has been in QT that hasn't at least heard the name Fergburger. For me the biggest problem was probably that the place was so heavily hyped that it just couldn't live up to the expectations. It was good, really good but not as heavenly as promised. If you're a burger loving person, even a liking is enough, you should definitely check the place though. Fergburger, no need to thank me for the free advertisement =)

So you got your white river rafting, speed boat rides, paragliding, sky diving, helicopter rides, plane rides, mountain bikes, cruises, bungee jumping etc in QT. I didn’t see any segways but they probably got those also. All those sounded exciting but not exciting enough for me to spend my few coins that I have left. Oh yes, I'm finally slowly but steadily running out of money. To be honest I'm quite happy how far and long I've done with the profit from selling my flat. Well done Teemu!

There’s one touristy thing that I did from QT and that one is a must. Milford Sound cruise in the fjord land .
To be honest, the cruise itself wasn’t that exciting but the 5 hour drive there was amazing. Finally I saw the scenery for what I came here and the bus driver/tour guide with 15 years experience on driving the route to Milford with his knowledge and dry French humour was the cherry on the top.
I guess i haven’t been promoting the places where I’ve been to that much, though I would recommend probably most of them, but trip to Milford Sound was just amazing. Money well spent.

It’s a shame that camera can’t capture the magic as the eye does but you get the idea from my pictures. Feast your eyes on these.

I really, really like this one :D

I think this is one of those exploding angry birds! Also known
as Kea, worlds only alpine parrot. Hungry son of a b*******
and mean. They were really after my shoe laces.

Humongous snails sunbathing.
