Food journalism part 4

In this episode of food journalism I'm gonna walk you through how to eat traditional Albanian snack, a whole grilled lamb head, in ten easy steps.  There's also pictures of some food containing organs, mainly liver and pictures of some of the coolest drinks ever

1: Go to a bbq hut that sells these bad boys and purchase them for 300 lek a head (muahahhaaa)
2: Buy some Albanian red wine to go with that for 3€
3: Try to find some meat from the head
4: Ask your hostel's staff to tell you how to crack the head open
5: Brake the jawbones with your hands and eat the meat
6: Ask if there's anything else to eat
7: Eat the eyes but spit the irises away since they are a bit chewy
8: Finish the operation by using a bread knife to crack the skull open and find your way to the brains
9: Eat the brains
10: Give bones and leftovers to the hostel's dog and let her lick your fingers

Before: on a skewer
after: on a plate with some Albanian red wine
I don't even know the names of these dishes but there was
plenty of liver and other organs.
Some nice drinks in Tirana
Is this the coolest way ever to serve a drink??!

  1. Beats any cooking programs!! Thanks for the golden retriever stuff, helps to digest the earlier cat video. Never mentioned it, but I had hard times to recover from it ;-). Yes, it was cute and funny and you’ve heard that people like those, but c'mon, cat video! Also relieving that the dog here was in the role of licking the fingers and not on the plate. Just dreadful to think if you ever go to China…
